“ ”Dmitry Shorin belongs to the new generation of contemporary painters in Russia. Born in Novossibirsk in 1971, he studied Fine Arts and fashion design in Omsk and Saint-Petersburg. Dmitry Shorin lives in Saint-Petersburg. Since 1995 he has regularly participated in art exhibitions in Russia and abroad. A big exhibition of his recent paintings was held at the Russian museum of Saint-Petersburg in 2008. Dmitry Shorin sells his work at various auctions including Sotheby's in London. His paintings are shown in Russian museums as well as in many private collections in Russia and abroad. He is represented in Moscow by Fine Art Gallery and in Europe by Karina El Helou.
